Welcome to my website where I share my passion for writing and storytelling. I'm Alexander C. Firlinger, a simple writer who was born in 1978 in Cambridge. Growing up in a family that valued learning, I found myself drawn to both the rigor of research and the art of storytelling, a blend that now defines my work.

My recent book, "Little did they know - A Handbook of Unusual Deaths," (opens in a new tab) is a humble attempt to tell the stories of lesser-known historical events and figures. This book is special to me as it represents my curiosity about the untold tales behind unusual deaths that have occurred throughout history.

My goal as an author is to tell the human side of history. I write not to impress with complex language or theories but to make history relatable and interesting to everyone. I believe that history is full of stories that can resonate with us on a personal level.
